Medical massage comprises therapeutic treatments for specific injuries or long-standing chronic issues, typically in 60-minute sessions.
Recurrent chronic conditions can occur from physical overuse, lack of use, or immobility. Our therapists select from various techniques based on the condition identified for treatment. A combination of therapies can reduce pain, spasm and inflammation; break up myofascial trigger points and fibrosis, and accelerate the recovery process.
A series of massage treatments at specific intervals is usually prescribed or recommended (consult your primary physician). And, If you reflect joint dysfunction during the massage you often may even receive a chiropractic adjustment the same day.
